My big baby :)

Luke is growing up so fast. At 7 months he weighs approx. 22 pounds and is 29 inches long. He is crawling pretty good now. He like to stand on his hands and toes to try and stand up but he is learning that doesn't help him stand. I try to help him stand up and sit up and to balance himself, so hopefully he will catch on.

He is getting in more teeth already. I say by 8 months old he will have close to 8 plus teeth. It has been so crazy. He is eating like a monster. He has a 8oz bottle every 4 hours. Then before bed he has about a cup or so of baby food plus a 8 oz bottle.

He loves to laugh and to play with his toys. He loves it when someone talks to him especailly me, I have no idea why. He loves his baby genius movies and books are like candy to him to play with.

Here is a video of Luke playing with his toys. This ball has little things in it to help it roll back to the infant. That way it helps him learn to crawl. It has helped for sure.

Four Teeth

Luke has been extra drool-ly lately. When we looked inside his mouth we found 2 big humps on his upper gums. Now a week or two later we noticed he's got two more teeth coming in, for a grand total of 4 teeth.

He is trying to crawl but doesn't quite get it perfectly yet. He does this scoot forward, fall down, lift up and start over thing that gets him pretty far. When that doesn't work he goes back to rolling around. He's really movable. He loves to eat, maybe just a little too much. He's 20 pounds and he's too tall for his car seat. He loves his toy keys, rattles and anything that moves and has makes sounds.He thinks its hilarious when someone laughs or smiles at him. He tries to do everything mom and dad are doing including typing on the computer, fold laundry and dishes.

I guess you could say Dennis is enjoying working at Pepsi. A job is a job. It helps just enough that now that we have majority of all Luke's bills paid I can now stay at home. We wont be as comfortable as we were but its worth it.

Scottsdale, Arizona

We went to Scottsdale, Arizona for our summer trip for our business. We had a blast! We stayed at Scottsdale Plaza Resort Hotel, we shared a room with a business partner and close friend. So the price actually wasn't bad. Luke had his first experience in a pool with little swim diapers, he loved it so much. He kept splashing himself and us but he thought it was funny which was fun. We had a few meetings we had to attend while we were there but it was only an added bonus to our trip. The company we run through had its 50 year anniversary so we mostly recapped the years as its improved and so forth. It was very cool to see.

The trip was mainly business which meant the "vacation" part wasn't long enough, it only was oh say, 2 hours. We left friday morning at 2am and left saturday night at 1130pm so it was very quick but long driving. We went by night cause Luke sleeps in the car most of the way and doesn't screw up his sleeping schedule so it wore on us down a little with that. All in all it was fun. Quick but fun. Summer

Here are some of our adventures so far this summer.
Luke has started to roll over and 'really' play with toys of all sorts, from his walker to rattles and just about anything he can fit into his mouth. He has become a stomach sleeper baby. He always rolls over in his sleep and we will find him in the most odd positions when we pick him up in the morning. Luke also has his first tooth, its coming in really well its also being followed by a second just hitting the surface. Luke also loves to read books with mom and look at the pictures.


















Luke loves to be out doors. We have done a few booths for xs this summer and Luke loved the attention he got from almost every person that walked by.

Focus

We were feeding Luke some barely flavored baby cereal when he just started laughing at what I was saying. He was laughing so hard I whistled at Dennis to get the camera and he caught Luke just at the right time. Each time to hear Luke's laugh you can't help but bust out laughing yourself.

This is our first baseball game with Luke. Kendall was there as well. He has been in town for 2 weeks and we love having him around.
