How much I miss my family

The night before last Luke woke up around six. Since Dennis has to be up at four I have been the one who stays up with Luke. Luke was wired pretty late that night so I was beat when he woke up crying. I wasn't ready to get up so I gave in and let him finish sleeping with me in our bedroom across the hallway. As I was falling asleep I was feeling really lonely and started to think about my family and what they are doing. As I was dozing back to sleep I imagined them laughing and having fun (even though in reality most of them most likely were sleeping) . The next thing I knew I got a phone call from my mother telling me that she was just a few hours away. Of course I was completely shocked but so relieved that I would finally see her. When she arrived all of my family was here. Trever greeted me with a big hug and it almost made me cry with happiness so see their faces. We went out to eat and just had fun watching the kids play and enjoyed ourselves.

Suddenly I heard the cat playing with Dennis cell phone charger and reality struck hard and quick. I felt Luke's arm around my arm and his head trying to cuddle with my shoulder. Then I realized Trever's hug was only my son cuddling with me. And I suddenly found myself trying to hold back tears and rage for that cat waking me from such a good dream. I think what was hard about it was that I actually felt like they were here, and waking up to only Luke was a shock.

I don't know if I believe that dreams have hidden messages or not. So thats how much I miss my family. I'm now having dreams that seam like reality...

He is getting so big and strong. He can now move pretty much any chair around and then climb on top of it. He can copy anything you say and do, and he laughs whenever you laugh. On "Finding Nemo" when bruce (the shark) is laughing his evil laugh, Luke starts busting out laughing... Its funny. He also runs so fast that sometimes he can't control his stopping... So one day he braced for impact into the bedroom door by putting his arms up in a crossing form and turn his head sideways in order not to hit his nose, just his cheek. He then bounced off the door and onto the floor on his bum. As I was trying really hard not to laugh he busted out laughing and pointing at the door as if he was saying "I meant to do that" in a joking manner.

His personality is really starting to develop. He is getting so big. He's 30 pounds and about 33 inches tall. He is so cute, and funny. He loves nursery and has a friend named Caden who is 3.
