Quarter of a century old birthday

I had a fantastic birthday! Dennis took Luke and I to the Outer Banks in NC to celebrate my 25th birthday! We saw a lot of great things and had a wonderful relaxing trip. Here are the high-lights.

Tallest brick lighthouse in North America and Dennis climbed it!

Luke went climbed up just under half way and got scared so I took him down and let Dennis climb the rest of the way up. You can see Dennis waving!

Changes

There has been a few changes in our lives recently.  CPI Portrait Studio's closed its doors to all of the United States about 3 weeks ago now. It was a suprise to all the employee's, they had just finished closing a huge number of studios at the end of the fiscal year. They had promised with the cut backs and the studio's closed that they would be just fine-apparently that wasn't the case.

So I am now back to being self employed doing odd jobs and of course my photography. I really miss my job at the studio but I like the freedom of when and where I work. Unfortunately like most everything that comes at a cost. Dennis is still full time student (studying for finals) and so the only income is the clients I get.

Dennis is still looking for something he could do in addition to school.  I am hoping that my photography will kick up enough to cover our expenses or find a job to help out. I am putting in applications pretty much everywhere but I am also putting a lot of effort into advertising my skills.

Dennis is still serving in the Elders Quarum Presidency as the First counselor and I was just called to be the Nursery Coordinator/Teacher. Luke is now a sunbeam and loves being in primary. We love you each of you and thank you for your love and support. love, s

Bass Pro-Shop

For those who don't know Bass Pro-Shop is a lot like Cabella's in Lehi, UT. We took a trip down there for fun a little bit ago.

Car Trouble

The View
For the first time in nearly five years my little Corolla finally had some unexpected trouble. I had a beautiful view of Kernersville while I waited for my husband and father in law to come tell me the damage. Of course I couldn't resist taking a couple snapshots of my cute little car being towed away...

Peter Pan/Jake & The Neverland Pirate's *Disney Jr.*

Luke has discovered Peter Pan! Believe it or not it was while watching the previews on the dvd for CINDERELLA! haha. Well needless to say, Mickey Mouse and Peter Pan & so on are new favorites. I love this video of him. Taken just a few minutes ago. I just got home for work and Luke was begging me for attention. I went in to his room as requested and just played with him for awhile then after dinner I got dragged back in and I decided to pull out the camera. I love my little man!Enjoy!
