Dionsaur Week & 34 weeks prego

Luke has been doing well in his Kindergarten class. They do so many fun things. Made an 'apple man' and had apples for A week. They made butterfly hats and caterpillars for B week then did horses and cowboys for C week. Well it was D week last week and Luke just loved that they did dinosaurs! I also got my hair cut and styled straight in honor of our anniversary, which you can see my pregnant belly. I'm 34 1/2 weeks in the photo

Lukes first loose tooth

Its been a big weekend for us. I had neice get baptized and its our 7th anniversary. Then to add to the fun Luke had his first loose tooth and not even 24 hours later it fell out. We're very excited that our Little Man is getting to be so big!

Ma-Mah and Grandpa love their Little Man

Ma-Mah and Grandpa sent Luke a Schneider truck toy with a cool matching T-shirt
Luke's been wanting a 'big truck' like Grandpa and uncle Kendall has. So guess what he got in the mail today from Ma-Mah and Grandpa! T-shirt says "more than meets the eye" with an orange Transformer and an orange Schneider truck on it. He is in LOVE!

Pit Stop in Utah Part 2

My dad (in law) and Kendall (bro. in law) had to get some maintenance done on their truck so we got to spend almost an entire day with them! If you read my previous post you understand how big this is for us. It was such a blast. We spent most of the day in North Salt Lake but we did come home for a few hours because Luke insisted Grandpa and Kendall play Mario Kart Wii with him. We have an old version of it but its still Luke's favorite game to play. Here are some snapshots from our day.

Pit Stop in Utah

My dad (in-law) and my brother Kendall (in-law)  are over the road truck drivers. They have been OTR for a few months now I believe but we haven't seen them since we left NC in Aug of 2013.  It was a miracle of sorts that both of our schedules worked out so we could spend time together. As anyone who has ever had family OTR or have been OTR themselves know that just doesn't happen. Schedules are meant to be on the road-not leisurely lagging around. Especially when you're a team. So we are very excited to see them and to have them around for a few hours even. While majority of their time will be sleeping in the truck we did get to eat dinner with them and have some minor plans for tomorrow when their truck gets it preventative maintenance. Usually they would just be gone by then. Luke is one of the major light in their lives! (I'm sure Amy and I are too even if she is in my tummy still). Luke was super excited to see Grandpa (one of his favorite people). Makes me really miss my Stokes family.
