Primary Easter Party

I love being able to go to the primary activities with Luke. Hot dogs, hay ride and easter egg hunt! I put Dennis on Amy duty and went with Luke on the hay ride which went to the Guptons campground where all the eggs were 'hidden.' We love celebrating and of course we can't forget the reason for the season. He is risen!

Easter fun at school

Much to my surprise Lukes school had an easter egg hunt. They invited the kids parents to come too and I was very excited to join him. They finished the week off with a snack, the hunt & a craft. Luke loved it! He even was thoughtful to make an egg for Amy (green one)  Daddy (blue one) and I (purple-see picture below.)

Two sick kids

So last week we had two very sick kids. Fevers were upwards of 102 but no other symptoms present. Amy gradually got worse as Luke got better. Amys got a double ear infection and has lost 2 pounds because of everything. This puts her on weight watch because she is now "too" thin. Luke kept complaining of headaches, nausea and refused to eat.

While all this going on Luke wanted to hold Amy but was tired... Hence the photo. He is so sweet to her-most of the time. Amy is on an antibiotic now and Luke is doing fine.  Just wanted to share this cute moment.

Luke lost his second front tooth. Check out how,big his bottom two are coming in!

T-Ball Practice

Luke finally got to go to his first practice. After much sickness he's finally able to play. Who better to cheer him on (besides Amy and I) then GRANDPA! Thats right, grandpa/dad was in town and was able to make time for Lukes practice. He has a lot of improving to do but for a rookie, he's okay. Go team Royals!

Big teeth

We had a few extra minutes after getting the day started off for school so Luke went to say good morning to grandpa. After showing off his loose tooth to grandpa... His top tooth came out... It wont be long till his other loose tooth will fall out, its already clacking up against its big tooth.

Amy at 4 months old

Things I don't want to forget about Amy right now.

Amy loves to smile, coo and babble. Chewing on her hands is a favorite thing for her. She is doing great on her hand-eye coordination. She is showing us great skill in trying to grab for things. She is strong in holding her head up, stretching her legs and rolling to her sides. She loves to follow people (especially Luke) and objects with her eyes/head. She loves her hair being brushed, having her cheek/forehead stroked, bright lights, music and baths.

She doesn't like wet/dirty diapers, loud 'sudden' sounds, the carseat, pacifiers, being swaddled/craddled, being by herself and being cold.

She is growing her first tooth and has the sweetest sounding voice. She shows good signs of wanting to crawl. She smiles at anyone who smiles at her. She is a very happy, social, loving baby.
