One thing most anyone who knows us knows my kids are the only grandkids on the Stokes side of our family. With that in mind our kids get a fair share of attention and spoiling from them.
Since Grandpa and Uncle Kendall are over the road truckers their schedule doesn't always get to be as flexible as most. Since they were home this weekend, they won't be home in time for his birthday on friday. We did a little family celebration today so they could see him open their gifts and get some cake.
But a few weeks ago we thought they would be here in time, so we planned a big party this coming Saturday. Luke having his official birthday on Friday wanted to take cupcakes to school. Needless to say I have a busy week ahead of me. We are excited to have a little man to celebrate though. I'm sure he's happy to be celebrated too. "...Turtle Power!"
